Courses and Degrees

Concordia's School of Music offers university-level courses and degree programs accessible to both regular undergraduates and interested community persons. 

Within the university degree program, students can choose from a music major in a four-year Bachelor of Arts degree, a music concentration in a three-year Bachelor of Arts degree, or a music minor in most undergraduate degree.  In addition, music courses serve as electives in any undergraduate program or as options for unclassified students.  Music study can prepare one for a variety of different occupations and avocations. 

Students will find courses in choral and vocal music, keyboard music, including private music lessons on all instruments.  In addition, courses in church music, music theory and composition, music history, music therapy, and audio technologies are among the complete list of music courses offered at Concordia.
