Performance Ensembles

The Concordia School of Music features quality programs in choral, handbell and instrumental music. Performance opportunities exist for university students and members of the community. Many function during the school year, but summer programs centre around Singspiration each August.

The concert season includes music by several different groups with various conductors and exciting programs. Concordia is committed to new music and music by Canadians, with several commissions and premieres to its credit.

The Alberta Foundation for the Arts has provided funding for selected non-curricular programs through its Post-Secondary Institution Grant Program. This support is gratefully acknowledged and appreciated.
