Performance and touring are significant aspects of the choral program's mission. The choir regularly sings on campus for concerts, chapel services, and special events, as well as in the Edmonton area in local parishes. The touring schedule includes an eleven-day spring tour and two weekend tours each year. Upcoming tours are posted regularly. Performance and tour highlights are numerous. The choir has toured eastern Ontario and Quebec (2002, 1996), British Columbia (2003, 2001, 1997, 1995), Saskatchewan and southern Alberta (2000, 1994), Manitoba, Wisconsin, and Minnesota (1999); southern Ontario and Michigan (1998); and, as well as regular visits in Alberta. Every few years, the choir embarks upon additional tours. Most recently, the choir undertook a three-week concert tour of Germany, hosted by the SELK and EXPO2000. In 1996, the choir toured across Canada to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Concordia. In 1993 and 1984, the choir travelled to northern Europe.
 Most often, the Concert Choir performs public concerts at churches, schools or community venues. The choir has sung in the Winspear Centre for Music in Edmonton, the Parliament Rotunda in Ottawa, the Chemanius Theatre on Vancouver Island, the William Glesby Performing Arts Centre in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba (photo), the Saskatchewan Centre of the Arts, and the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel at CFB Petawawa, among other places.
Occasionally, other performing groups are included on the program as we share music with others. We also offer school programs and workshops, working with choral students at other institutions, from grade school to college. When appropriate, the Concert Choir also offers musical contributions to worship services. In addition, the Concert Choir has sung at professional music and education conferences as well as church-related conferences and gatherings, including the Alberta Music Conference, the Alberta Teacher's Association Conference, and the Lutheran Church Canada national and regional conventions.
On tour, the choir often billets with members of local churches. They appreciate the opportunity for the one-on-one fellowship, as well as to experience different communities through local hosts. In this way, the interaction between peoples extended beyond the music.
