Eva Bostrand began her musical training and performing career in Stockholm, Sweden, where she attended the National University College of Music, the University of Stockholm, and the Stockholms Muiskpedagogiska Institut. Parallel with her vocal, pedagogical and operatic studies, she performed as soloist and ensemble singer in professional and semi-professional vocal groups. Ms. Bostrand was a member of the Swedish Radio Chamber Choir under the direction of Eric Ericson and toured, performed and recorded extensively with the choir. In addition, Ms. Bostrand has sung under Anders Őhrwall, Ricardo Muti, Sir David Willcox, James DePriest and Nikolaus Harnoncourt.

Since coming to Canada, Ms. Bostrand has appeared in solo and chamber music recitals and performed with symphony orchestras, including the Concordia Symphony Orchestra. She has sung as soprano soloist with Pro Coro Canada, Da Camera Singers, and the Concordia Community Chorus.

Ms. Bostrand has been voice instruction at the Alberta College Conservatory of Music, the University of Alberta, and Augustana University College. She currently teaches from her own music school, the storefrontstudio in Edmonton. Ms. Bostrand has a passion of voice education and takes great pleasure in leading workshops for voice teachers, music teachers, choirs and voices students of all ages and levels. She is also a choral/vocal adjudicator and clinician at festivals across Canada.
