Theodore Turner

Studio Guitar

Theodore Turner is the owner of The Turner Guitar Studio Ltd. in Leduc Alberta, where he has set up permanent teaching since 2000. From 1991 to June of 2000 most of his teaching was done in student’s homes. His itinerant teaching was supplemented by Concordia students, a 2 year stint with Rural Music Supply, Leduc School of Music and Private instruction at Taylor University College. In the past 15 years he has an average of 80 students per week of all levels and styles. He was a professional recording artist from 1991 to 1999 and recorded and released 7 albums.
 
He first studied guitar in Edmonton under Don Happner in 1983 and later received instruction from Happner from 1992 to 1995 while completing a BA at Concordia. He also has studied off and on with Caesar Zmyslowski and is presently working on a full classical concert repertoire under Caesar's tutelage.
 
Theodore loves to teach and help students reach their full potential as musicians.
